The Showroom
The kitchen Sebastián built for himself — and the flagship of his design vocabulary.
When you're selling kitchens, you have to cook in one. Sebastián built his showroom the same way he builds for clients — every cabinet, finish, material, and transition chosen with intent. Deep green uppers, warm oak wine storage, a waterfall marble island, and a hand-placed butterfly installation that has become the signature of the space.
The Challenge
A design studio had to double as proof of concept: every visitor needed to leave imagining what their own kitchen could look like. Safe and showroom-generic wouldn't do that. It had to be specific and memorable without boxing any future client in.
Our Approach
We committed to a moody-modern direction: deep green flat-panel cabinetry, warm oak wine column, matte black fixtures, a dramatic waterfall island in book-matched marble, and a botanical butterfly wall that softens the drama. Every surface is something Sebastián uses in client work.
The Result
Clients walk in, stop at the butterflies, then touch the marble. Most projects start with some version of 'can we borrow the oak wine thing you have?' It sells itself — and sells what's possible.
The project, up close.

Designer's note
“This is the room I'd want in my own house. So I built it. Clients see it, sit at the island, and start redesigning their kitchens out loud.”
